Survey on Voting Among People with Immigrant Background, 2011

The study on voting among voters with immigration background are commissioned by the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion. The survey was conducted in 2007.

The population was limited to persons who, according to electoral lists had been in the municipal council and county council election in 2011 and that had originating from one of the countries included in the study. Respondents sampled were from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania except Australia and New Zealand and some countries in Europe.

The survey was conducted with self-report questionnaire online and paper. At first contact all respondents received information on completing online. In subsequent envoys were also made by form on paper. Online questionnaire was available in Norwegian and English. Paper form was made in Norwegian, English, Somali and Urdu.
