Growth performance is significant in broiler production. In the growth process of broiler chickens, gene expression varies at different growth stages, and the regulation mechanism of muscle growth and development is also complex. In the study, we used RNA-seq to study the transcriptome of the breast muscle for male Jinghai yellow chickens at 4, 8 and 12 weeks. The study would have important guiding significance to our production practice.
