资源简介:
Idris is a graduate of English Literature and worked as a teacher and translator for large companies in Saudi Arabia. He never thought a personal hobby could become so important in a country thousands of miles away from his own. In this testimonial, Idris explains how barbering helped him to not only pay his university fees but to help his family members too.
This material is part of the Covid Chronicles from the Margins project, funded by The Open University and the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague. The project aims to highlight the impact of the pandemic on refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants.
