Allegory of Loyalty

The sculpture depicts a man wearing a garment. His right arm is stretched and appears to be holding onto some type of food, perhaps a loaf of bread. He shows a friendly and open body language through his offering gesture. Besides him is a dog. He is accompanied by this dog who is comfortably rested by his side. The dog looks up to the man and is rapped, half covered, by the garment worn by him. Predominantly, a dog is a symbolic representation of loyalty, which means having a faithful allegiance to another person or institution.
