Individual run timing data for North American Atlantic salmon populations

This dataset contains individual migration timing metadata associated with previously generated whole-genome sequencing data from 498 Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) individuals sampled across seven North American populations. The data were used to investigate the genomic basis of adult return timing and corresponding variation in migratory phenology. Associated analyses identified a major genomic region on chromosome 17, including the ppfia2 region, linked with migration timing variation alongside evidence for a broader polygenic component. These metadata support analyses presented in the accompanying manuscript examining the genetic architecture of migration timing in North American Atlantic salmon.
