Kiwifruit Raw sequence reads

Cold stress impose serious influence on cultivated kiwifruit since it is weak in freezing tolerance. However, the underlying mechanism of freezing tolerance in kiwifruit is still largely unknown, especially with regard to the key pathways involved in freezing tolerance. In this research, we studied the transcriptome profiles of the freezing-tolerant species Actinidia arguta (KL) and freezing-sensitive Actinidia arguta (RB) to identify the main pathways related to freezing tolerance. The mature (3 years old) plants of each genotype were placed in a field. The shoots were collected in early January 2020 in Zhengzhou city (Henan province, China). Three biological replicates of shoots for metabolic profiling and for RNA sequencing (RNA Seq) were collected randomly from all plants of each genotype at time point 0 h, 1 h, 4 h and 7 h under -25 C treatment.
