Data and analysis files for: Horizontal transfer of an ice-binding protein gene family among polar and alpine eukaryotes, implicating a temperate bdelloid rotifer lineage

Alignments, phylogenies, reconciliation inputs and outputs, and analysis scripts supporting a study of horizontal gene transfer in the DUF3494-type ice-binding protein family. A 66-sequence, 41-taxon gene family was reconciled against a composite species tree under a probabilistic duplication–transfer–loss model (AleRax v1.4.1), integrating over a 3,000-tree Bayesian posterior sample of gene trees rather than a single point estimate. The archive includes the amino acid and codon alignments, the species tree, the pruned maximum clade credibility gene tree, the BEAST XML input and pooled gene tree sample, AleRax configuration and driver scripts, and the scripts used to aggregate transfer support to clade level. No new sequence data were generated; all sequences were retrieved from GenBank and UniProt. See README.md for a description of each file.
