Shotgun metagenomic profiling of fecal microbiota in Normal, MPEI, and SPEI subjects

This project investigated gut microbial alterations in human fecal samples from Normal, MPEI, and SPEI groups using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. Total DNA was extracted from stool samples, paired-end libraries were prepared, and sequencing was performed on the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus platform.
