We sampled at 15 m every 4 hours for 3 days. Sampling was Lagrangrian at station ALOHA. This was part of the SCOPE cruise in July 2015. Seawater was prefiltered ahead of time and then DNA and RNA was extracted for downstream amplification of the V4 region to target the microbial eukaryotic population.
