Coopetition as an ecological dynamic: interactions between dense seasonal macroalgal mats and oysters on temperate shellfish reefs

We document the proliferation of dense algal mats on intertidal oyster reefs in the Southeastern USA. We also use data from a small field experiment to understand the effects that oysters have on macroalgae. The data and code included here can be used to replicate all analyses and figures in the manuscript.
