Knowledge of eurozone states number among non-euro EU member states 2020, by country

This statistic illustrates the share of respondents from European Union (EU) member states that do not use the euro that know there are 19 countries in the eurozone as of 2020, broken down by country. It can be seen that 46 percent of respondents in Sweden knew that there were a total of 19 countries using the euro at that time. On the other hand, only 34 percent of respondents in Bulgaria were able to correctly state the number of countries currently in the euro area as of 2020. On average, the share of respondents in EU member states not using the euro that knew there were 19 countries using the euro stood at 40 percent at that time.
