Red Metal Limited, Red Metal, is the owner and operator of EPM 27224 - Edith Creek located 145 km southwest of Burketown and 10 -15 km northwest of the Century Pb - Zn - Ag mine. The tenement forms a part of Red Metals Lawn Hill project. The tenement was acquired to cover an area interpreted to be prospective for lead - zinc - silver mineralisation in covered portions of the Lawn Hill platform near the giant Century deposit.
This report outlines work carried out on EPM 27224 during the period December 16, 2019 to December 15, 2020 and is the first Annual Report in respect of the tenement.
Exploration by Red Metal during the current term comprised of,
Review and compilation of historic exploration data.
Magnetotelluric surveying, 48 stations at 500 m intervals along three lines for a total of approximately 28 line kilometres. The survey is planned to continue in 2021 with a further 26 line kilometres to be surveyed.
The work program for Year 1 comprised review of geological and geophysical data and magnetotelluric surveying (48 line km). Both of these activities have been commenced, are ongoing, and will be continued in 2021.
Work for the next term is planned to comprise further analysis of existing data, completion of the MT survey and analysis of all data to generate targets for further exploration.
