The Canadian Alcohol and Drug Use Monitoring Survey (CADUMS) is an on-going survey on alcohol and other substance use, undertaken by the Controlled Substances and Tobacco Directorate, Health Canada. The survey asks respondents a number of health, alcohol, and drug use related questions. Topics of interest include: alcohol consumption; incidence of smoking; illicit drug use; general health and well-being; smoking status; alcohol use and harms (AUDIT); pharmaceutical use (use not as indicated, use to get high); cannabis use and harms (ASSIST and CUDIT); other illicit drugs use and harms; alcohol and cannabis use and driving; pregnancy and substance use; and effects of drug use in everyday life.
