Neonatal infection with Helicobacter pylori affects stomach and colon microbiome composition and gene expression in mice

The evolutionary history and health implications of infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori makes it a focus of experimental studies. We performed an explorative study to compare the gastrointestinal microbiome of mice in the first month of neonatal infection with H. pylori with that of uninfected individuals.
