The aim of this study was to identify the downstream target genes of three wheat NAC transcription factors associated with senescence. The genes studied were NAC5, NAM1 and NAM2 with 2 or 3 homoeologs for each gene. DNA affinity purification sequencing (DAP-seq) was used, with the DNA library constructed from wheat flag leaves cv Cadenza 7 and 14 days after heading.
