Temporally Compound Heatwave and Its Interaction with Urban Heat Island over Mainland China

The data describe the tempeature series of all grids in urban and rural areas during 1961-2021. Ur and Ru represent urban and rural areas. MAX, AVE and MIN represent the maximum, mean and minimum temperature (℃) types. PRE, WIN, PRS and RHU represent the precipitation (mm), wind speed (m/s), Pressure at sea level (hPa), relative humidity (%). Grid4 and Grid5 represent the grid divisions of 4°×4° and 5°×5°.
