Dataset and supplementary materials for "Primary EFL Learners' Reception of an AI-Generated Anime in a Subtitling Activity: An Exploratory Study"

This record contains the dataset and supplementary research materials associated with the exploratory study “Primary EFL Learners’ Reception of an AI-Generated Anime in a Subtitling Activity: An Exploratory Study”. The deposit includes: (1) questionnaire analysis files and statistical outputs, including descriptive statistics and frequency distributions; (2) qualitative analysis project files; (3) a codebook for the focus group analysis; (4) coding frequency and retrieved-code tables; (5) the anime episode 1 video and (6) the subtitle template (.srt) used in the pedagogical task. These materials document the analysis of learners’ reception of an AI-generated anime-based subtitling activity conducted in Andalusia, Spain. All files are shared for transparency, methodological traceability and research reproducibility. Personal data have been removed or anonymised where necessary. Repository: Zenodo.
