Selenium-enriched tea is an ideal source of selenium supplements, and its effects on mice with intestinal disorders have been poorly reported. In this study, we analyzed the main chemical components of selenium-enrichedgreen tea extractsand evaluated its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and regulatory effects on four intestinal flora in mice with antibiotic-induced intestinal disorders. The main chemical components of selenium-enrichedgreen tea and green tea are significantly different. Selenium-enrichedgreen tea has high selenium content, and the contents of tea polyphenols, flavonoids, tea polysaccharides and catechins are dominant. Selenium-enrichedgreen tea extractscan regulate the expression levels of intestinal antioxidant and inflammatory factors and corresponding mRNA genes in mice, and has a stronger advantage in improving the oxidative stress and inflammatory response caused by intestinal disorders. In addition, Se-rich green tea extract can reduce the weight loss and intestinal pathological damage caused by antibiotics, promote the colonization of Bifidobacteriumand Lactobacillusin the intestinal tract of mice, inhibit the growth of Escherichia coliand Enterococcusin the intestinal tract, and play a certain role in regulating intestinal flora.
