Dataset contains raw measurement files collected during:1) dc polarization measurements,2) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and3) spectroscopic ellipsometryof technically pure titanium samples with oxide layers formed during anodizing process at 10 V in 1s - 20 min at 60 oC using DES liquid composed of choline dihydrogencitrate and oxalic acid. The study concerns determining the influence of the time of formation of the oxide layer (1s - 20 min) at a constant potential on its barrier and optical properties. The kinetics of growth of anodic layers on titanium and their corrosion resistance in a 0.05 M NaCl solution environment were investigated. Finally, an attempt was made to correlate the results obtained by both methods and ultimately create a model of the layers reflecting their morphology.Details about file naming, related sample materials, experimental conditions, software for data processing, are described in the "readme.txt" file. For electrochemical measurements, the Notepad application is sufficient to access the ASCII data which allow to plot the graphs. Moreover, for electrochemical measurements, detailed measurement parameters and hardware details are available in each .DTA file. They can also be read directly from .DTA files using the notepad application or another simple text editor.
