资源简介:
There has been much recent interest in the relationship between the types of gut microbiota and the development of obesity. It has been proposed that gut microbiota contribute to the regulation of energy homeostasis. However, the contribution of gut microbiota to obesity is less investigated in schizophrenia patients. Importantly, obesity and metabolic problems play important roles in morbidity and mortality of schizophrenia patients. Human intestinal microbiota compositions related with obesity may impact the heath of this population. Therefore, we performed a study to investigate the differences of intestinal microbiota and other clinical variables between normal weight and central obese schizophrenia patients at baseline and at the end of 4 weeks diet intervention.
