Synthetic Tsunami Waveform for the Miyako Coast Based on Stochastic Source Models 2
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains simulated tsunami waveforms for the coastal area of Miyako in the Tohoku region of Japan. The dataset was generated using 1,000 stochastic tsunami source models, producing a wide range of possible tsunami scenarios. The tsunami propagation was calculated using a nonlinear tsunami model. The resulting waveform data can be used for applications such as training artificial neural networks for tsunami prediction and other data-driven approaches. All simulations were performed using the EIC supercomputing system at the Earthquake Research Institute, University of Tokyo. The dataset is associated with the following study: Wang, Y., Imai, K., Miyashita, T., et al. (2023).
