This datapack contains raw measurement data acquired during the calibration and evaluation process of a regolith mass estimation sensor.
Each photoresistor was configured with a 10 kΩ resistor in series and powered by a 10 V supply. The voltage drop across each photoresistor was measured using an ADC and saved in CSV format. The data includes voltage readings from five photoresistors, paired with corresponding system timestamps. Parallel measurements from the microcontroller's timer and encoder outputs are also included to enable correlation between the angular position of the shovel and the photoresistor signals.
In addition to the raw data, a file pairing the measurement filenames with the corresponding acquired mass is provided. The masses, measured in kilograms with an accuracy of 10 g, were used to:a) Derive the calibration function for the sensor.b) Evaluate the accuracy of the sensor based on the aforementioned calibration function.Only non-zero mass (non-reference) measurements were included in both the calibration process and accuracy evaluation.
