Water monitoring network Lower Saxony (GÜN)

In total, the state of Lower Saxony operates about 260 levels. At about 220 levels, the runoff is determined in addition to the water level. A large part of the levels was built in the 50s and 60s of the last century, but in some cases there are also levels with a longer observation period. Of all levels, about 20 are in the tide area and 60 are flood detection levels.
