Microbial communities and their role in biogeological processes from La Palma lava tubes.

Microorganisms from Canary Islands' lava tubes had never been studied so far. Due to geographical location of these Islands as well as the mineralogical features of lava rocks, it's being presented as a interesting oportunity to identified new microbial communities and their roles in biogeological processes.
