Phylogenetic and population analysis of Geranium yesoense

Geranium yesoense (Geraniaceae) is endemic perennial herb in Japan. Although G. yesoense is divided into three intraspecific taxa (var. yesoense, var. nipponicum and var. pseudopratense), little is known about its phylogenetic relationships and genetic structure due to analysis resolution. We performed multiplexed inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) genotyping-by-sequencing (MIG-seq). These data contribute to reveal phylogenetic relationships, genetic structure and demographic history of G. yesoense species complex.
