Images of sediment collected from the R/V Weatherbird II May 2012 cruise WB-1218

The goals of this cruise were go sample in the DeSoto Canyon and revisit stations sampled in 2011. We sampled sediments particulate organic carbon, dissolved inorganic carbon, plankton and bacteria, and dissolved CO2+CH4. This dataset contains the sediment images collected from this cruise using a Shipec grab. It also reports latitude, longitudes and depths where samples were collected. Data for four samples analyzed in the lab for stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen and total percent carbon and nitrogen are reported. This dataset also include data funded under FIO Y1.x029.000:0004.
