The goal of this study is to examine the potential influence of growth hormone (GH) on the gut microbiome. The GH deficient mice (GHKO) resemble the phenotype of congenital growth hormone deficiency experienced in humans and offers an opportunity to see the influence of the lack of GH on the microbiome and intestinal health. The fecal microbiota was assessed in male GHKO and their littermate controls (n=10 per group) .
