A price survey of one can of water-based paint across the nation revealed that the average price in December 2016 was 1,528 yen. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for water-based paint at supermarkets nationwide was recorded in December 2016 at 1,528 yen, while the lowest price was observed in April 2015 at 1,493 yen. The price difference between the peak period (December 2016) and the lowest period (April 2015) for water-based paint across the national area was 35.4468 yen.
