Management Units for Flood Risk DE (Flood Risk Management Directive 2. 2016-2021 cycle)

This metadata set describes “Flood Risk Management Units” as the area type “Management Area, Protected Area, Regulated Area” of INSPIRE Annex- Theme III “Management Areas, Protected Areas, Regulated Areas and Reporting Units”. The Bundesanstalt für Wasserkunde (BfG), on behalf of the water management authorities in Germany, manages the data of the reporting on various water-related EC environmental directives in the national water reporting portal (WasserBLIcK). On the basis of this data basis, the BfG provides selected map and data services in coordination with the Länder Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wasser (LAWA). The services provided here are based on nationally homogenised data sets. Other administrative levels in Germany (country, district, district, municipality) may provide services on this subject in a higher spatial and temporal resolution.
