In 2021, approximately 59.7 percent of the fungicides and bactericides sold in the European Union (EU) were inorganic fungicides, such as copper compounds, inorganic sulfur, and other types of inorganic fungicides. Fungicides based on carbamates and dithiocarbamates constituted 10.6 percent of the EU's overall fungicides and bactericides sales that year.
