''A manufacturing apparatus was developed to allow for repeatable, precise positioning of the sonicator probe. Utilising a single-axis micrometer translation stage (PT1/M, Thorlabs Inc., USA) in combination with a 3D-printed (Original Prusa i3 MK2, PLA filament) ice bath and a 1.5 mL tube (DNA LoBind Tubes, Eppendorf SE, Germany) support, repeatable positioning and temperature control of the ND manufacturing process was achieved.''
