Block and Block Longitudinal Study, 1969 - 1999

This study examines personality (socio-emotional) development; ego control and ego resiliency from early childhood to early adulthood; factors related to the development of gender differences; parental child-rearing attitudes and values during childhood and adolescence; the self-concept over time; among other topics. Emphasis is given to continuity and personaility-context issues in development. The Murray Archive holds numeric and video data for this study.
