The Hog Plum Leaf Disease Dataset is a comprehensive collection of high-quality images of hog tree leaves, systematically gathered from Sylhet, Bangladesh, between September 03, 2025, and October 10, 2025.Here 3 students from RTM Al Kabir Technical University under the supervision of Md. Samiul Alim (Lecturer, RTM Al Kabir Technical University) and one student from Daffodil International University. The dataset consists of six distinct classes: Anthracnose, Dry, Healthy, Leaf Blight, Cutting and Deficiency, which represent various stages of both diseased and healthy conditions in hog plum tree leaves. The total dataset contains 2,755 images, with class-wise distribution as follows: Anthracnose (414 images), Dry (426 images), Healthy Leaf (403 images), Deficiency (429 images), Leaf_Blight(434 images) and Cutting (649 images). The images were captured using the Samsung galaxy A12 smartphone in natural lighting conditions, ensuring high resolution and clarity. The original images were captured in jpg format at a resolution of 2250 × 4000 pixels, later resized to 480 × 640 pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi to standardize the dataset. Although the dataset does not include annotations, it serves as a valuable resource for researchers and machine learning practitioners focused on plant disease classification and early disease detection in hog pulm trees. This dataset is particularly relevant for applications in precision agriculture and automated plant pathology analysis, where understanding leaf conditions can play a critical role in improving crop health management strategies.
