We present a high-quality genomic dataset comprising 482,884 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) derived from high-throughput resequencing of 172 Vietnamese rice landrace accessions using HiSeq 2000/2500 technology. Population structure analyses using Discriminant Analysis of Principal Components (DAPC) and structured Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (sNMF) revealed two distinct groups corresponding to indica and japonica classifications.
