Dataset used for "Internal migration and mobile communication patterns among pairs with strong ties"

This repository contains the data used in our paper "Internal migration and mobile communication patterns among pairs with strong ties".<br>1. monthly_count.csv and monthly_frac.csv<br><br>For each pair used in the dataset ('pair_id') belonging to the train/test set ('set'), we list the unstandardised values of the counts and fractions for each value of <i>t</i>, the number of months from the estimated moving month. The moving month corresponds to <i>t</i>=0, while pre-move months and post-move months are denoted by negative and positive values of <i>t</i>, respectively.<br>2. response_predictors.csv<br>For each pair used in the dataset ('pair_id') belonging to the train/test set ('set'), we list the unstandardised values of the post-move fraction and count and the unstandardised values of the predictors used in the paper.<br>Note the following values for the categorical variables:gender_ego: 1 (female), 2 (male)same_gender: 1 (same gender), 0 (opposite gender)direction_move: -1 (towards alter), +1 (away from alter)count_decay: 1 (post-move count &lt; pre-move count)<br>frac_decay: 1 (post-move fraction &lt; pre-move fraction)<br><br>
