This dataset supports the manuscript “Developmental Shifts in Eye Morphology and Visual Ecology of Banded Flower Mantis (Theopropus elegans)”, submitted to Proceedings of the Royal Society B. It includes:Raw and segmented micro-computed tomography (µCT) scans of T. elegans heads across developmental stagesMeasured data on eye morphology, ommatidial number, facet size, and spatial acuity (Excel format)A README file explaining dataset structure, file naming conventions, and measurement methodologyThese data were used to quantify changes in eye shape and visual performance from early instars to adulthood. CT scans were conducted using a ZEISS Versa 620 XRM system, and measurements were taken in 3D Slicer.
