Pediococcus acidilactici strain CNCM MA18/5M (also known as R1001 or EQ-01) is a commercially available probiotic that is widely used in swine, chicken and aqua-culture feeds, and human dietary supplements. The aim of this project is to obtain a complete genome sequence and to compare to other strains of the same species.
