Poly-A selected metatranscriptome samples from the SCOPE-Gradients 3 expedition (km1906) 10 April to 29 April 2019. Triplicate samples of ~10 liters seawater were pre-filtered through a 100 micron mesh and collected sequentially onto 3.0 and 0.2 micron polycarbonate filters from the surface mixed layer (~7m depth) along a transect (from 25 to 41 degrees N) in the North Pacific along 158 degrees W.
