Power System Cascading Events Dataset - Modified IEEE 39 Bus Network

This dataset contains simulated cases of cascading events (a sequence of sequential failures that might lead to blackouts) following initial disturbances, from a modified version of the IEEE 39 bus network that includes renewable generation and relevant protection devices. More details on the modelling modifications and the derivation of simulated scenarios are provided within the associated descriptive file contained in the dataset.This dataset has been developed and used for machine learning applications but can be also useful for other purposes.
