Dams of the Bioregional Assessment subregions

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThe dataset contains dam locations stored as points for all subregions of the Bioregional Assessment Programme.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nInitially to illustrate dam localities on a number of Northern Inland Catchments bioregion map elements. Can be applied across all bioregions.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nDam centroids (points) have been derived from the Geoscience Australia GEODATA TOPO 250K Series 3 - Infrastructure/DamWalls layer using the ESRI ArcTools\\Data Management\\Feature To Point tool.
