Towards a global understanding of tree mortality

Data and code for the paper "Towards a global understanding of tree mortality" currently under review with New Phtologist. The repository contains two files:

(1) itmn_survey_cleaned.csv

A cleaned version of the survey results. Cleaning included (i) correction of country names, (ii) removal of non-integer values (e.g. <5 instead of 5), (iii) removal of duplicated entires (i.e. one plot network entered by two people), and (iv) renaming of column names. The final dataset includes following columns:

(2) survey_stats_figures.R

R-scrpt to reproduce all statistics and figures included in the paper.
