Associations between the gastrointestinal microbiome and nitrogen efficiency in Holstein cows

In this project, we evaluated the associations between the rumen and fecal bacteriomes and nitrogen efficiency in Holstein cows. Identification of potential markers of nitrogen efficiency could help improve the economic and environmental problem associated with nitrogen inefficiency in dairy cows.
