Dataset of 'Impacts of Plant Functional Group Dominance and Geochemical Factors on Soil Carbon Stocks and Fractions in Grassland Ecosystems'

Soil is the largest terrestrial reservoir of organic carbon and is central for climate change mitigation and carbon-climate feedbacks.Monitoring the changes in the physicochemical properties of soil in natural reserves contributes to advancing the establishment of an integrated monitoring system for ecological elements in the protected areas, encompassing land, air, and space. We selected a total of 12 species from various plant functional groups, sampling based on their individual dominance patches. The primary focus was on assessing soil mechanical composition, soil metal mineral content, and soil carbon-nitrogen-phosphorus content. The dataset size is approximately 66KB.
