S1-GRiTS: Multi-Region Gridded Monthly Sentinel-1 Composite Products for Spatial Scalability Demonstration

This component contains representative gridded monthly Sentinel-1 composite products used to demonstrate the spatial scalability of the S1-GRiTS framework across four land regions across continents. The released products support the spatial-scalability figure in the associated manuscript and include MGRS-tile-level GeoTIFF products (UTM Zone), region-level VRT mosaics (EPSG:4326), intermediate reprojected VRT files, false-color visualization outputs, and machine-readable metadata. The four demonstration regions are Bayern, Germany; the Sahel region in Burkina Faso; the Guangdong--Hong Kong--Macao Greater Bay Area, China; and New Britain, Papua New Guinea, covering 22, 14, 21, and 13 MGRS tiles, respectively. The false-color composites use VV backscatter, VH backscatter, and VV GLCM contrast texture to illustrate the ability of S1-GRiTS to generate gridded monthly Sentinel-1 backscatter products across heterogeneous geographic settings. The VRT files in this component use relative source paths and are intended to remain valid after the component directory is downloaded and extracted, provided that the internal directory structure is preserved.
