Performing Spirometry and Low Dose Chest CT to Screen for COPD Systematic Review Search Strategy

A summary of the search results from databases: PubMed (NLM) from inception to 11/17/2023 (650 Results) Embase (Elsevier) from 1974 to 11/17/2023 (1,849 Results) Cochrane Central (Wiley) from inception to 11/17/2023 (161 Results) CINAHL (EbscoHost) from 1982 to 11/17/2023 (36 Results) Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics) from inception to 11/17/2023 (416 Results) The search resulted in 3,347 studies and 961 duplicate studies were found and omitted by the librarian the EndNote 20 and following the Wichor Bramer duplicate identification strategy. This resulted in 3,165 records to screen from databases or registers and 182 records to screen from other methods, resulting in a total of 2,386 records. Studies were screened by title and abstract by two blinded and independent reviewers. If a tiebreaker was needed, a third reviewer was called in. This process was repeated for full text article screening and article selection.
