We performed RNA sequencing to identify the role of fibroblast in the effects of tryptphan metabolites on LPS-stimulated mouse neonatal intestinal organoids. Overall design: The neonatal intestinal organoids were passaged and seeded into 24-well plates. Concurrently, fibroblasts were passaged and seeded into 0.4 µm pore-size transwell inserts, which were then placed into the wells containing organoids. The co-cultures were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS, 200 µg/mL), ILA or IAA (each at 6 µM), and/or AhR antagonist CH223191 (1 µM), based on the experimental conditions.
