Jakarta FIR ADS-B 1090ES Dataset (November–December 2020)
收藏资源简介:
A five-week capture of decoded 1090 MHz Extended Squitter (ADS-B Out) messages received from a single low-cost ground station inside the Jakarta Flight Information Region, Indonesia. The receiver — a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B running PiAware / dump1090-fa with an RTL-SDR R820T2 dongle and a 1090 MHz collinear antenna at approximately 6 m above ground level — was operated at 6.355936° S, 106.719659° E in South Tangerang, Banten from 8 November 2020 to 14 December 2020 UTC. The dataset contains 3,034,393 rows of locally received aircraft-state observations spanning 1,019 unique ICAO 24-bit hex idents and 1,631 unique callsigns. Forty fields per row cover identification, position and altitude (barometric and geometric), kinematics (ground speed, track, IAS, TAS, Mach, vertical rates, roll, headings), the full DO-260B quality-indicator set (NIC, NACp, NACv, SIL, SIL type, NICbaro, GVA, SDA, plus the containment radius Rc), operational state (squawk, emergency, FMS/MCP selected altitudes and headings, autopilot modes), and receiver bookkeeping (RSSI, message counts). To make ownership and redistribution unambiguous, rows where any field was multilateration-synthesised from a third-party network are excluded from this release; every retained record is the receiver's own decode of publicly broadcast 1090ES signals using open-source software on the authors' hardware. The release includes both CSV and Parquet formats, a per-column codebook, a Frictionless Data Package descriptor, SHA-256 checksums, and the deterministic build script that produced the files. To the authors' knowledge, no comparable openly licensed single-station ADS-B dataset for the Jakarta FIR is available; the OpenSky Network has limited Indonesian receiver coverage during the study period and gates bulk historical access to institutional researchers. This dataset is released to support replication and downstream research on flight-path reconstruction, trajectory analysis, ADS-B quality-indicator performance, and surveillance-system characterisation in Indonesian airspace. This dataset accompanies the paper "ADS-B Version Adoption and Quality-Indicator Compliance in the Jakarta FIR: Evidence from a Five-Week Low-Cost Receiver Campaign in 2020" (Indonesian Journal of Aerospace, 2026, in preparation).
