INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AS A FACTOR OF SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Inclusive education has become one of the most significant educational reforms worldwide, aiming to ensure equal learning opportunities for all children regardless of their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, linguistic, or other conditions. The present study examines the role of inclusive education in promoting the social and psychological adaptation of children with special educational needs. Particular attention is given to the influence of inclusive learning environments on self-esteem, social competence, emotional well-being, communication skills, and academic participation. The findings indicate that inclusive educational practices contribute significantly to the development of positive peer relationships, social integration, and psychological resilience. The study emphasizes the importance of teacher preparedness, family involvement, and supportive educational environments in ensuring the effectiveness of inclusive education.
