This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Numerical and Experimental Validation of an Autonomous Navigation and Mapping Framework for Mobile Robotics", submitted to the journal MDPI Robotics. It contains data collected during real-world experiments performed with an AgileX Scout 2.0 mobile robot operating autonomously in a vineyard. The dataset includes: The ROS graph of the navigation and mapping framework, showing the ROS nodes and communication topics used during autonomous operation. Robot navigation data (.csv files), including position and velocity profiles recorded during the three repeated experimental runs and used to generate the results presented in Figure 7 of the article. 3D point clouds (.ply files) obtained from LiDAR measurements during the experimental campaign, corresponding to the vineyard reconstructions shown in Figures 8 and 9. These data support the validation of a GNSS-free LiDAR–inertial navigation and mapping framework for autonomous vineyard monitoring.
