Heermann's Kangaroo Rat Habitat Model for NSNF Connectivity - CDFW [ds1042]

Predicted habitat suitability grid developed using Maxent and reviewed by CDFW staff for use in the northern Sierra Nevada foothills wildlife connectivity project. Scenario5: vegetation, distance to water, elevation, and four bioclimatic variables were used to predict habitat suitability. The vegetation layer in this scenario was defined by 15 vegetation classes. The bioclimatic variables were: bio01 (Annual Mean Temperature), bio04 (Temperature Seasonality), bio12 (Annual Precipitation), and bio15 (Precipitation Seasonality).
